This course explores the Gospels, letters, history (Book of Acts), and apocalyptic literature that comprises what is known as the New Testament of the Judeo-Christian Bible. The student will develop basic understanding of the Christian Scripture’ meaning for the people to whom they were written. This course is based on the premise that, whatever else the Christian Scriptures may b; they most definitely are the response of early Christian writer to both the person and the message of Jesus Christ.
